The Masarotti wines are all produced with great care and attention by Giuliano from our different vineyards, both at the Frascje and in the neighbouring villages. Our wine cellar is on the same site as the Agriturismo, and if you wish to visit it during your visit we will be happy to show you around. The wines are categorised into three different quality classes (table wine, or two different Denominazioni di origine controllata, D.o.c), depending on which vineyard the grapes are produced from, as the vineyards fall into two different geographical regions – Colli Orientali del Friuli and Grave del Friuli. These categories guarantee a high and consistent quality of the wine, indicative of the care and precision used to produce these wines.

	Predeman Brut, 12,5% vol.	Information
	A sparkling wine refermented in the bottle using the ‘traditional method’ with the PINOT NOIR grape. The wine is a brilliant, straw yellow colour, and the perlage is fine and persistent. The nose is fragrant with an intense aroma of crusty bread. The main characteristic of the flavour of this wine is its minerality. Predeman Brut is a dry sparkling wine, ideal as an aperitif, and being produced from red grapes it can also be an excellent accompaniment to starters and light dishes.
	DOC, Friuli Grave, 12,5% vol.	Information
	The most typical wine of Friuli, produced from the Grave area of the river Torre. A straw coloured wine. The nose is delicate with aromas of fresh fruits, green apples, elderflowers, gooseberries, unripe peaches and a hint of citrus fruits. Good minerality. The wine is dry with moderate alcohol and a moderate smoothness. Good acidity with a mineral finish, closing with a hint of green almonds. Ideal with seafood dishes.
	White Wine, 12% vol.	Information
	From the vineyards of Cerneglons Vecchio, to the right of the river Torre, we produce this blend of Chardonnay, Friulano, Verduzzo and Malvasia. A light straw-coloured wine. A delicate nose of white peaches and flowers of acacia, wisteria and magnolia, with a hint of vanilla. The wine is dry and soft, with moderate alcohol. Good acidity and minerality. Wonderfully balanced. Ideal with starters, seafood risotto or fried mixed fish.
	DOC, Friuli Grave, 12,5% vol.	Information
	A Pinot Grigio produced from the Grave area of the river Torre. The long maceration on the skin of the grape gives a light bronze colour. The nose is of a rich fruitiness with a wide range of exotic aromas. The palette is fresh, fragrant and smooth, making this wine ideal for any occasion.
	DOC, Friuli Colli orientali.	Information
	From the vineyard ‘Paludella’, located in Buttrio in the Colli Orientali Del Friuli, we carefully harvest this Verduzzo and leave the grapes to dry and intensify until Christmas. It is then slowly fermented in oak barrels. An intense, clear, yellow-gold wine. A wonderful nose of dried apricots, honey and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth a full, soft, velvety wine, excellently balanced. Ideal with cheeses and pastry based deserts.
	Red Wine, 12,5% vol.	Information
	From the vineyard ‘Caludris’, the old toponomy of the river bank to the left of the river Torre, we have harvested the grapes of Merlot and Pignolo and have carefully blended these together before refining for 6-10 months in large oak barrels of 50hl. A ruby red wine. The nose is of black currants and flowers of violas, with a hint of moss and gently spiced with cloves. The wine is dry with moderate alcohol and moderate softness. Flavours of fruits of the forest with moderate tannins and minerality. Ideal with pasta and rice dishses, or braised meats.
	DOC, Friuli Colli orientali.	Information
	From the vineyard ‘Paludella’, located in Buttrio in the Colli Orientali Del Friuli, we carefully harvest this Merlot and refine for 2 years in small oak barrels. An intense ruby red wine. The nose is of black fruits and aromas of the forest, lightly spiced with pepper. The wine is dry with good alcohol and moderate softness. Intense flavours of red and black fruits. Moderate tannins, acidity and minerality. Ideal with meat dishes.
	DOC, Friuli Colli orientali.	Information
	From our vineyard in Buttrio, located in the Colli Orientali Del Friuli, this schioppettino is refined for 2 years in small oak barrels. An intense ruby red wine. The nose is of blueberries, lightly spiced with pepper. The wine is dry with good alcohol and moderate softness. Intense flavours of red and black fruits. Moderate tannins, acidity and minerality. Ideal with meat dishes.
